Ayshea and Ben – August 2010

Glamour combined with a little Marseille “cool” when fashionista, Ayshea, married Ben in the last of the high summer heat. Ayshea was determined that her guests should dine in the open evening air which represented quite a challenge to the Rigaud team but luck was on our side and the wedding was spectacular success.

The highlight was quite literally a work of art when their great friend, an acclaimed installation artist from Marseille, covered the chateau with truly wonderful film clips projected from 8mm film onto the ancient walls.

The magic started when Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire appeared to be dancing on one of the chateau’s chimneys. Soon afterwards a fifteen second clip of Charlie Chaplin mixing a cocktail (on a loop) announced that the chapel bar was now open. Here in one of the pictures you will see Ayshea and Ben’s faces as they were filmed on the day of their engagement.
