Autumn and winter weddings

During the cooler months, from October through to December, we’re able to offer smaller weddings within the chateau itself, for groups of up to about forty guests. Legal weddings in France are possible, at the discretion of the Mairie and we have seen several of our brides marry legally in our commune. This is particularly appropriate for smaller numbers.

Winter weddings are so romantic, with roaring log fires in the lounges and dining room, candles on every ledge, fine wines and amazing menus from our chef, Steve Carss.

The atmosphere is magical, being part house party, part wedding since we’re often able to accommodate all the guests within the chateau and perhaps one other local house. We can arrange a bespoke itinerary for the weekend including an exclusive and candlelit wine tasting in the underground caves of a Grand Cru Classé Chateau in St Emilion.

Fully inclusive winter weddings for twenty adults staying in the house cost from 9,000 euros on a fully inclusive basis.
