Bread making is one of those life-changing skills that brings huge reward for the relatively small investment of time. The bread element of the weekend will cover working with fresh and dried yeast and with different flour types. You’ll learn about kneeding, proving, shaping and baking standard loaves, also flat breads, continental breads and you’ll do some baking in a wood fired oven.
Moving into the vines you’ll visit Premier Grand Cru Chateaux of St Emilion and Sauternes. You’ll compare left and right bank reds and discover some amazing, lesser known, Bordeaux whites.
